We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients wonderful small animal practice in Portsmouth. Available on a full time, permanent basis, the role offers a great work/life balance and a salary dependant on experience.

Working rota:

• 4 day working week (average 37hrs per week over 4 week roster)
• 1 in 4 weekends
• No OOH

About the role:

Reporting to the Clinical Director and working alongside both clinical and non-clinical teams, the ideal candidate will firmly understand the importance of a “diagnostic-first” approach and support the practice ambitions of better clinical outcomes through early diagnosis. The successful applicant will enjoy engaging with clients and their pets, whilst being professional, confident and calm in their approach to the role; inspiring confidence in the clients and team.

The practice and its facilities are purpose-built, with its own separate dental, x-ray, lab and ultrasound suites, in addition to operating theatres, consulting rooms, separate dog and cat recovery wards and a walk-in isolation.

Although predominantly a small animal practice, they also see a lot of exotics so offer a wide variety of cases.
