We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients growing team at their small animal veterinary practice in Oadby. The position is available on a full or part time, permanent basis and offers a competitive salary up to £58,000, dependant on experience.
- Full or part time (26 – 40 hours)
- 1 in 2 Saturday mornings OR 1 in 4 Saturday full days
- No Sundays or OOHs
The ideal candidate will be kind, compassionate and easy going. The role would be perfect for those who have a surgical bias, wanting a diverse orthopaedic and soft tissue caseload. It would, however, also suit a new grad wanting a supportive and caring environment to get their career off to a flying start.
The practice sees a rough split of 45% dogs, 40% cats and 15% small furries. You would see an equal mix of consults and surgery, with consults being 20 minutes as standard. You would have clinical support from certificate holders in medicine, surgery, behaviour and acupuncture, and have access to facilities including MUIS ultrasound, PLH digital x-ray, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, full in house lab and double theatre.
