Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients small animal practice in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Available on a full or part time, permanent basis, the role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 FTE, dependant on experience.
Working rota:
- Full time, 4 day week
- Shifts between 8:30am – 7:30pm
- 1 in 5 weekends
- No OOH
About you:
You must be a confident Veterinary Surgeon, able to deal with a varied small animal caseload, including routine and non-routine surgical and medical procedures, diagnostics, and consultations. A surgical bias is desirable but not essential; further studies in this field would be actively encouraged and supported.
The job:
The day to day role offers a varied workload and is predominantly based at the main practice in Kings Lynn, however you will spend 1 day per week at the practices consulting only branch surgery in Downham Market.
You would be joining an existing team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons including a certificate holder and Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology, with two other Vets currently studying towards PgCerts in Internal Medicine and Dentistry and Oral Surgery respectively. You would also have the support of an experienced nursing team consisting of 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse who in turn are supported by a team of 5 Patient Care Assistants.
