Leapfrog Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an independent veterinary practice situated near Abingdon, Oxfordshire. We are looking for a small animal Vet Surgeon to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

The surgery is well equipped with 2 theatres, good ultrasound, digital x-ray and diagnostic facilities, they have a good clientele who listen to advice and are keen to have cases worked up and the best treatment/ action taken.

Here you’d be working with the Vet/ Owner who has a medicine certificate, and 2 year qualified Vet who is progressing well. The role is open to both experienced and newer graduated vets; they have had new graduates within the team previously who have enjoyed working there and received good support/ training.

Working rota:

• Full time, 40hrs per week
• 1 in 3 weekends, Saturday 9am-5pm then on call. Following Friday off.
• 1 fixed night on call per week and 1 in 3 Thursdays – on call here is VERY quiet and rare to be called out/ required.
