Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified Equine Veterinary Nurse (RVN/REVN) to join our clients expanding team at their Equine Veterinary Hospital in Warfield, Berkshire. The position is available on a full-time permanent basis and offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 5 days per week
• 1 in 4 weekends
• OOH on an on-call basis

The role will allow you to utilise your skills to the fullest potential as a diverse range of duties will be included within the position, such as Theatre Nursing, diagnostic nursing/imaging, Standing Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), laboratory work, assisting veterinary surgeons and administrative work.

You would be joining an existing friendly and sociable team of 13 vets (including CertAVP’s), 8 nurses (registered/ student /nursing technicians) and 12 members of a further support team in reception. There are also external consultants that regularly visit the practice. The practice proudly boast a full surgical suite, a Standing MRI unit and a large array of state-of-the-art equipment (including portable, digital radiography and ultrasonography, dynamic endoscopy, Mobile Gastroscopy and an in-house laboratory).

About you: 

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Equine Veterinary Nurse (RVN/REVN), preferably with a driving license. Experience of working in a busy hospital would be desirable, although full training will be given.
