Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients team as Equine Emergency Medicine Clinician at their mixed practice in Halstead. Available on a full time, permanent basis, the role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, dependant on experience.
Working rota:
- On call veterinary surgeon role
- 7days on, 7days week off
- Shifts 5pm – 8am weekdays, 5pm Friday – 8am Monday
About you:
You must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, confident and experienced in Equine Practice.
The job:
You will join and support the equine team by covering out-of-hours work and in-patient care between 5pm and 8am during the week and 5pm Friday to 8am Monday. The practice is busy and varied, with an interesting caseload and great clients. Their well-equipped clinic includes hospitalisation and surgical facilities.
You should be able to deal with most emergency cases either on an ambulatory basis or by admitting cases to the well-equipped clinic with excellent nursing support. For those cases requiring emergency surgery or intensive medical treatment, the practice are conveniently located approx. 30 miles from Newmarket where great referral support is provided by two large equine hospitals.
