We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients small animal practice in Sidcup. Available full time permanent, the role is offering a competitive salary up to £60,000 DOE.
- 40 hours a week over 4 days
- 1 in 4 weekends
- Second on call for occasional nights
The ideal candidate will have previous experience and be capable and confident as a GP Veterinary Surgeon to supplement a fantastic team of hospital clinicians. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a busy and diverse environment.
Ideally you will have a medical bias but not be afraid of surgery, with particular interest in diagnostic imaging and medical work-ups. You will have the ability to remain calm in the face of emergencies and articulate in the face of complex cases, along with the ability to work in harmony with a large team (28+ Surgeons, 28+ Nurses, 50+ Support & Admin Staff. Various certificate holders and an exotic specialist.).
The practice has separate cat, dog and exotics wards, each encompassing their own operating theatres, as well as dedicated dental suites, ultrasound facilities, endoscopy and of course x-ray. They also have an extensive lab, staffed by bio-medical professionals experienced in supporting the vet team.
Salary is up to £60,000 dependent on experience.
