We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients small animal hospital in Saffron Walden. Available on a full or part time, permanent basis, the role offers a competitive salary up to £65,000 FTE, dependant on experience.
Working rota:
- Full time, 40hours per week
- 4 day week
- 1 in 6 weekends
- On call for inpatients only
About you:
You must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a minimum of one year’s clinical experience. Non-UK residents will be considered. A driving license is required. Part-time applicants considered.
The job:
The day to day role is flexible with a mixed role including hospital inpatient care, surgery and consultations being an option, alternatively a purely consulting role can be made available. The practice hospitalise their own inpatients to ensure they are able to work up difficult cases thoroughly and provide the best possible care. They have an on-sight night Nurse team and Vets are required to be on call for inpatients only.
You would be joining a team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons with a diverse range of interests and expertise and 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses and Student Veterinary Nurses. The practice also has a number of visiting specialists including a visiting cardiologist, ophthalmologist, and ultrasonographer.
