We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients experienced team at their small animal veterinary practice in the historic market town of Newmarket. The position is available on a full or part time, permanent basis and offers a competitive salary up to £48,000, dependant on experience and further qualifications.
- Full or part time
- Shift patterns between 08:30 and 20:00
- 1 in 4 weekends (weekdays off in lieu)
The practice is primarily a small animal (cats, dogs, and rabbits) and exotics first opinion practice, however they are also proud to provide veterinary care to several local Zoo’s, private exotic collections and be involved in marine mammal emergencies. Candidates with a focus on exotics and/or cats and dogs are welcome.
The Head Veterinarian is an Advanced Practitioner is Zoological Medicine with other Veterinarians in the team studying towards Post Graduate Certificates in the same subject and Advanced Medicine of Cats and Dogs. The nursing team is passionate about the patients under their care and have excelled their knowledge and skills in an array of subjects to include the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Emergency and Critical Care, Exotics and Veterinary Business Management.
