We are looking for a budding Surgical Veterinary Surgeon to join and compliment a team of veterinary surgeons, including a PGCert (SAS) Holder, to offer surgical services at our clients practice in Ashford. Available full time permanent, the role is offering a competitive salary.

• Full Time
• 4 days a week, shift patterns between 8am – 9pm
• 1 in 7 weekends with time of in lieu
• No primary OOHs, just cover of inpatients with dedicated night nurses on site

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience with at least one year of UK veterinary experience. Attainment of a surgical certificate [BSAVA PgCertSAS, CertAVP (GSAS) or PgCert (SAS)] or near completion of a certificate would be ideal, as well as experience in orthopaedics and/or laparoscopy. Additional clinical interests can be supported through the high hospital and branch caseload.

The practice is a Tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital with an amazing array of facilities. The hospital benefits from on-site CT, Kyon TPLO/TTA kit plus ALPS plates, upgraded ultrasound (Imotek 3) and Karl Storz scopes (gastroscope, bronchoscope, arthroscope, laparoscope). Many of the vets and nurses are embarking on advanced certificates including ECC, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging.
