Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our clients busy Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital situated in Leeds, West Yorkshire on a full, or part time permanent basis.

• 1 in 4 weekends, TOIL
• No OOHs

Here you’d become part of a large team of Veterinary Professionals including certificate holders, RVN’s, SVN’s, PCA’s and admin staff.

MEDICAL RVN: The inpatients are cared for by a team of 6 RVNs, a TVN and a PCA, supported by a lab technician. You will be part of the handover process from the day/ night teams and play an important part in the daily ward rounds.

They have a 32 kennel dog ward, a separate cat ward, 2 isolation wards, a rabbit ward and a separate ICU. Daily ward rounds and hand overs done at changes of shifts.Variety of interesting cases are seen and treated

SURGICAL RVN: The surgical patients are cared for by a team of 9 – 12 RVNs, a TVN, and a PCA, supported by a lab technician. There are 4 theatres, separate rooms for endoscopy, dentistry, oncology, and ultrasound scans, 3 general plus 1 cat only prep room.

Additional facilities include, onsite CT scanner. 2 general and 1 x dental x-ray machine, 3 ultrasound scanners, many scopes, an ophthalmic microscope, multi medias and a wide variety of patient monitoring equipment ETC.
