We have an exciting job opportunity for a RVN to join our clients 1st opinion veterinary practice situated in Burgess Hill, West Sussex on a permanent basis.

• Full time, however hours between 22-40hrs per week are also considered
• 1 in 4 Saturdays
• No OOHs
• Shift times are on a rota basis made up of full days, early shifts (8am-4pm) or late shifts (11am-7pm)

An award winning practice which is modern and equipped with surgical and diagnostic facilities and equipment. Here you would be joining a friendly and professional team of Veterinary Surgeons, RVN’s and support staff who see a varied 1st opinion caseload and provide gold standard veterinary care.

As a RVN here your duties would include:

Conducting Nurse Clinics, emergency triage appointments, care for hospitalised patients, prepare and monitor surgical patients, barrier nursing for isolated patients, anaesthetic monitoring, perform and assist in x-rays; the practice has both DR and digital dental x-ray, be involved with training for their new laparoscopic kit, communicate with owner’s face to face, by phone and via petsApp, blood sampling and In house Idexx machines, Imagyst suite and microscopy. Maintain high standard of health and safety for team members and clients

In return a salary of £23,000 – £32,000 per annum is on offer (varying dependent on experience & skills) and competitive benefits package including in-house and funded CPD.

Minimum requirements:

• RCVS Registered or eligible to register
• Eligible to work in the UK
