Are you a Qualified Veterinary Nurse who enjoys utilising your nursing skills and looking for a new permanent job in Braintree, Essex?

We have an exciting job opportunity at our clients 1st opinion 100% small animal veterinary surgery situated in Braintree, Essex who are looking for a Registered Vet Nurse to join their team on a full, or part time permanent basis.

• Full time, 40hrs per week
• Part time also considered
• 1 in 4 weekends
• No OOHs
• £28,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience

Here you’d be joining a friendly and welcoming team of 3 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 1 Student Vet Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. The surgery is well equipped with full surgical and diagnostic facilities which enables them to treat a varied and interesting caseload.

As RVN here you would be using your nursing skills to their full potential including doing nurse consults, 2nd vaccinations, post op checks, bandage changes, weight clinics and more.

CPD & professional development is supported and encouraged both in your day to day role in practice and through funded CPD & events.

Minimum requirements: 

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (or eligible to register in 2024)
• Eligible to work in the UK
