Leapfrog Recruitment are helping an independently owned veterinary practice situated in Stourbridge, West Midlands who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
- 4-5 days per week
- Saturdays on a rota basis
- No Sundays or OOHs
The practice is a truly brilliant independently owned, modern veterinary practice which is purpose built and very spacious with multiple consult rooms, large prep area, theatre and wards.
We are looking for a passionate Qualified Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working within a fast paced environment and has a compassionate approach to animal care and customer service. In this role you will be doing a variety of nursing duties including but not limited to:
- Nurse Consultations
- Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures and examinations
- Monitoring and care for animals during and post-surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct routine diagnostic tests, including blood samples, urine analysis, and radiography
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients using our practice management software
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
- Educate and advise pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and post-treatment care
- Keep the clinic clean and organised
A competitive salary between £26,000 and £32,000 per annum and benefits package which includes
