Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a confident Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to join our clients Small Animal Veterinary Practice in Reading, close to both the vibrant city and beautiful countryside. The position is available on a full-time basis and offers a competitive salary up to £26,000, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 40hrs per week over 5 days
• 1 in 4 weekends
• No OOHs

The day to day role will include theatre work, medical nursing, nurse clinics and helping with reception if there is a need. You would also be supported in additional responsibilities such as student nurse training if this is an interest.

You would be joining an existing close-knit team of 3 vets, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, an outstanding client care team and a practice manager. The hospital itself is well equipped with facilities including digital dental x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, video endoscopy, Idexx lab, ECGs, slit lamp, iCare tonometry, HDO.

About you: 

You need to be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is both confident and enthusiastic. You will be dedicated to providing stellar services to clients and their pets.

Salary: 

Up to £26,000 FTE per annum dependent on experience.
