Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to join our clients friendly small animal veterinary practice Balbriggan, County Dublin. The position is available on a full-time permanent basis, and offers a competitive salary up to €32,000, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 35-40 hrs per week over 5 days
• 1 in 3 Saturdays
• No OOHs

The role will include nurse consultations, monitoring surgery, radiographs, lab work and some reception duties.

You would be joining an existing team of 7 Vets and 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses spread over 3 clinics, with support staff and full-time receptionists. The practice has the facilities to support a wide clinical caseload and they encourage professional development, aided by having veterinary specialists in USG, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology and Exotics within the team.

About you: 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, provide exceptional veterinary care and work well within a team. The position would be suited to either experienced nurses or newly qualified, enthusiastic nurses, and there are facilities in place for full training and support.

Salary: 

• €27,000 – €32,000 dependent on experience
