We are looking for a Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to join our clients friendly small animal veterinary practice situated in Kelsall, Cheshire. The position is available on a full or part time, permanent basis and offers a competitive salary up to £26,325, dependant on experience.

- 1 in 4 Saturdays
- 1 in 8 weekends at sister hospital
You would be joining a team of 3 Vets, 3 Nursing Staff, and 2 Receptionists with the aim to treat patients as though they were your own animals, and clients as you would wish to be treated. Practice facilities include a cat friendly waiting room, extensive in-house blood testing, digital x-ray, digital ultrasonography, separate dog and cat wards and much more.
You will be expected to liaise with the Veterinary Surgeons to ensure maintenance of ‘best’ veterinary practice and effective running of the practice. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Veterinary Surgeons, in line with the code of professional conduct and schedule 3
- Supporting any nursing assistants and / or student veterinary nurses in all aspects of nursing care
- Maintaining a cleaning regime within the practice to ensure high standards are maintained throughout
- Carrying out Nurse clinics or Nurse appointments
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing the best care. An interest in nursing clinics would be beneficial as the practice are keen to extend the provision of their Nursing Clinics.
