Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a Registered Vet Nurse to join our clients Small Animal veterinary practice in Mintlaw. The position is available on either a full or part time basis, and offers a competitive salary up to £27,000 dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 40hrs per week over 4 days
• Part time also considered
• 1 in 5 weekends
• No OOHs

The practice is a well equipped, rural, 100% small animal practice set in Aberdeenshire’s beautiful countryside. The practice is a modern and purpose-built, well-equipped surgery including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, k-laser, flexible endoscope, ultrasound and in-house lab. You would be joining an existing team of 5 vets, including a certificate holder, 6 RVNs, an SVN, 2 VCA’s and a dedicated reception team and practice manager.

The role will include a combination of surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, radiography, inpatient care, in house lab work, nurse clinics and consultations. You will be encouraged to pursue your passions, e.g. ISFM certs, rabbit qualifications etc, and further certification and CPD will be funded and supported.

About you: 

You need to be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is confident in all aspects of nursing.

Salary: 

Up to £27,000 per annum dependent on experience.
