Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to join our clients team at their Small Animal Veterinary Practice in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The position is available on a full or part time basis and offers a competitive salary up to £28,000 FTE, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full or part time, up to 40hrs per week
• 4 day week
• 1 in 5/1 in 6 weekends
• No OOH

Between their two surgeries, the practice have 10 FTE vets; 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and 12 Support staff. One vet has a surgery certificate and one is working towards hers. The vets have a wide range of interests from surgery to dermatology and ECC.

Being predominantly based at the Bicester branch, you would be working alongside 12 experienced and professional nurses, as part of a fast-growing practice that strives to deliver excellence in customer service as well as gold standard veterinary care. Your nursing skills will be fully utilised in your day to day role, including drawing blood, taking x-rays etc.

The practice itself has been designed to provide the highest quality of care using the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment, with purpose-built facilities across their two sites, including Digital x-ray, Idexx diagnostic machines, dental suite, and modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment.

About you: 

You need to be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, who is organised, enthusiastic, motivated and strives for clinical excellence. You should be as comfortable in the consulting room as in the theatre, and thrive in both environments. Further study/certificates in your chosen discipline would be supported.

Salary: 

Up to £28,000 FTE per annum dependent on experience.
