Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a Registered Vet Nurse to join our clients supportive small animal veterinary team at their practice in the Shropshire market town of Oswestry. The position is available on either a full or part time basis, and offers a competitive salary up to £24,000 FTE, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 40hrs per week over 4.5 days
• 1 in 6 weekends
• 1 in 5 weeknight inpatients
• Part time applicants considered – different working rotas would apply

The role will include anaesthetic monitoring, nursing consultations, reception work, assisting the Vets and schedule 3 work. The ideal candidate will be experienced within a veterinary nursing role, be a great communicator, and have a positive attitude, alongside being keen to learn.

You would be joining an existing team of 6 FTE Vets (including 2 certificate holders, medical and surgical), supported by Registered Veterinary Nurses and student Vet Nurses, ANAs and a very experienced client care/ reception team, who all pride themselves on great client care and communication.

About you: 

You need to be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is confident in all aspects of nursing.

Salary: 

Up to £24,000 FTE per annum dependent on experience.
