We are looking for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients team at their small animal practice in Penn Fields, Wolverhampton, on a 12-month temporary Maternity Cover contract. Available on a full time, temporary basis, the role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, dependant on experience.
Working rota:
- Available from 1st September 2022
- Shared accommodation available if required
- Full time
- No OOH
- 2 in 4 Saturdays
About the role:
The role will involve both first opinion consulting and surgery, with some sole charge work during the week and on Saturdays alongside a receptionist and 2 registered veterinary nurses. The rota involves working 4 days per week between the hours of 8:30 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off, and every other Saturday from 8:30 am until 2 pm.
The practice are well-equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope and full in house Idexx lab machine.
About you:
You must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, confident with sole charge. You should enjoy consulting and be a capable surgeon. You should have a strong work ethic and the ability to provide excellent patient and client care.
