We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients small animal practice in Colchester, as a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, from 25th July until the end of August at the earliest.

• No weekend days

Colchester is located within easy access to London and the beautiful Essex coastline, just a stone’s throw from Mersea Island. The practice is open from 8:30am to 6:30pm and runs 20 minute consultations. They are fully equipped with direct digital x-ray, a high-quality ultrasound machine, an endoscope, and in-house lab equipment.

The position would involve carrying out consultations, working up cases, general surgery and basic imaging, so previous experience is essential. You would be working alongside one full-time and one part-time Veterinary Surgeon, four qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN), and one Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN), in addition to three Receptionists and one Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA).

Salary dependent on experience.
