Leapfrog Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a recently expanded and refurbished veterinary practice situated in Truro, Cornwall. We are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead their nursing team on a full time permanent basis.

• Recently refurbished and expanded veterinary practice
• PSS accredited and Training Practice – 1 coach per student
• No OOHs
• State of the art surgical and diagnostic facilities

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse; ideally 4+ years of small animal nursing experience and natural leadership skills. Previous senior/ head nursing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Here you’d become part of a friendly and supportive team consisting of 4 vets, 3 RVN, 2 SVN , 5 receptionists and a practice manager. We are looking for someone to join their work family and add to the positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Working hours:

• 32-40hrs per week, likely to be 8hr days, 4 or 5 days per week
• 1 in 4 weekends with TOIL
• No OOHs

Salary: £24,000-£26,000 p/a

Minimum requirements:

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse
• RCVS Registered or eligible to register in 2021
• Eligible to work in the UK
