Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a modern veterinary practice situated in Bath, Somerset on a full time permanent basis.

• Full time
• Weekends on a rota basis
• No OOHs

The practice is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house lab, digital x-ray, multiparameter monitor units and separate dog and cat wards. They have a team of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, a great reception team and team leader & practice manager.

The ideal candidate will have good general nursing experience, be friendly and enjoy working as part of a team. Senior nursing experience/ experience of managing a small team is desirable but not essential.

Duties would include:

• Writing the nursing rota
• Assisting with appraisals and recruitment
• Ensuring the smooth running of the clinical shifts
