Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse with natural leadership skills and a passion for excellent veterinary care? Leapfrog Recruitment have an exciting Head Veterinary Nurse job vacancy at a practice in Herne Hill, South East London.
Salary Bracket: £31,000-£33,000 per annum.
A supportive working environment with a team of 3 full time vets, a practice manager, 1 RVN (plus 2 other RVNs, one experienced and one newly qualified to be hired), 1 receptionist, 3 VCA’s and a student Veterinary nurse. They actively encourage further development and 2 of the vets are currently studying for certificates in medicine and surgery.
As HVN you will be in charge of the rota and ensuring the practice needs are met alongside those of the team. You will also be in charge of developing the nurse team in their skills and education which will be backed with funded CPD and any other training routes you think will help the practice.
Working hours:
- Monday- Friday (shifts 8.40-4pm/ 12-7.30pm)
- 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8.45-12.45pm)
- No OOH or on call.
