Leapfrog Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a 1st opinion small animal veterinary surgery situated in Hertford, Hertfordshire. We are looking for a Head Vet Nurse to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
- 40hrs per week
- 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu
- No OOHs
The surgery is purpose built and equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, capnography, separate wards for cats, dogs and isolation unit, sterile theatre and more. They have a team of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 2 VCA’s, full time receptionist and a practice manager. With a great clientele and varied caseload with a high percentage of insured pets they offer a wide range of procedures including orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound with sampling, cardiac scans and more. They also run 30 minute appointments for non-routine cases and 15 mins for vaccines.
As HVN here you will be fully supported by the practice manager and partner Vet who are both experienced and certificate holders in nursing and Clinical Oncology.

- Qualified and RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
