We are looking for a Head Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to join our clients amazing small animal veterinary practice situated in Pontypridd. The position is available on a full or part time, permanent basis and offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience.
Working rota:
- Full time (part time considered)
The practice facilities include 3 consulting rooms, an in-house pharmacy and in-house laboratory, central preparation/dental area, theatre, x-ray and imaging room, separate cat and dog kennels and more.
The role available is key to the practice’s ability to provide a high level of clinical standards and will include strategic, professional and operational leadership to the nursing team. You would be an integral part of the senior leadership team, working alongside the Clinical Director as part of a collaborative management team to drive growth and change within the practice.
Your key responsibilities will be to maintain the practice clinical nursing standards, induction, appraisals, training, and maintaining consistency of nursing team skills.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and ambitious leader, able to empower and evolve the team whilst being keen to develop their skills. You will work enthusiastically with the team and help to maintain a happy, efficient working environment, whilst ensuring practice policies are adhered to at all times, providing outstanding patient and client care.
You MUST hold an appropriate veterinary nursing qualification and currently be registered with the RCVS.
