Leapfrog Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a recently refurbished 100% small animal veterinary practice situated in South London who are growing and looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full or part time permanent basis.

• Full or part time (F/T is 40hrs across 4 or 5 days)
• Shifts between 8am-7pm
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis, 8.45am-12.45pm
• No OOHs
• Competitive salary up to £40,000 p/a

Equipped with state of the art surgical and diagnostic facilities including well equipped theatre, multiparameter, ultrasound, in-house lab, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, dental machine, separate wards, outdoor garden (Perfect for summer lunch breaks), ECG and more.

You will be an ambitious HVN who will have the opportunity to help teach and shape the nursing team. The role is adaptable to suit you & your specific interests – whether that be loving good stitch ups or a good cat abscess or running nurse clinics! As HVN you will either already be a Clinical Coach or willing to become one to act as CC to one of the SVN’s.

The team is currently made up of 3 Full Time Vets, 1 Clinical Director (started in January), practice manager, receptionist, 2 SVN’s and a VCA – and currently hiring another RVN. As HVN you will be an integral part of the management team and will assist with the financial and operational performance of the practice as well as the overall team performance and engagement. You may already be an experienced HVN or an RVN looking for a leadership role, no matter where you are within your career you will have access to further training and support to enable your professional development.
