We are looking for an experienced Equine Vet to join an established Equine Veterinary Practice situated in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire on a 6 month locum or permanent basis.Â
Here you would be part of a 4 strong Equine Vet team who are supported by 3 experienced RVNs, a clinical groom, equine coordinator and a practice manager. Our client is looking for a Vet who enjoys the freedom of ambulatory work but also enjoys developing their skills within a clinic environment.
The usual working week:
- 5 days per week, 8.30am-6pm
- 1 in 4 nights on call – on call from home, calls taken by receptionist
- 1 in 4 weekends with TOIL
The practice is part of a mixed animal veterinary practice who have a dedicated equine team. The equine department are BEVA accredited for stud work and have inpatient facilities, operating theatre as well as visiting surgeon who come in to carry out complex procedures.
Most of the Equine teams work is ambulatory (vehicle provided) within a 30 min drive from the practice.
