We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our clients practice situated in Ely, Cambridgeshire as Clinical Director. The surgery are open to a working rota that suits you and offers a supportive and committed team with an extremely loyal client base whom a high percentage of are insured.
- Full or part time
- 1 in 3 weekends, TOIL
- No OOHs
The ideal person is a vet who wants to lead the team by example and be an involved Lead Vet. The team are motivated and talented and are looking for a clinical director who will both be involved in and encourage the wider team to:
- Lead by example (sleeves rolled up style)
- Support new graduates through PDP
- Develop clinical protocols and structure the workload of the team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice
You need to have good surgical skills as well as excellent consultation skills. An approachable consultative style is essential as the team take great pride in the relationships they have built with their patients, clients and local community.
The practice is a purpose built 100% small animal surgery in a rural, attractive area with state of the art equipment including ultrasound, laser, a well-equipped dental suite, x-ray, inhouse lab and more.
