Experienced Equine Vet wanted to join 6 Vet established RCVS GP Equine practice situated in East Sussex - good links to London, Brighton and Gatwick.
We are looking for an experienced permanent full time Equine Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our clients progressive and fully equipped Equine practice.
Facilities include inpatient facilities for over 18 horses as well as a range of portable equipment, indoor and outdoor schools, horse walker and more!
Your role would be clinic based as well as ambulatory. Back up for field procedures is provided by 3 qualified Equine Vet Nurses and 2 extremely experienced nurses, alongside these you are supported by the client care team.
1 in 6 OOHs rota - shared evenly
A strong work ethic and desire to provide high quality service to clients is vital, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
You would become part of a friendly approachable practice with a team centred approach, a can do attitude and commercial awareness.
CPD is encouraged and funded with a generous CPD allowance, along with a competitive package. A house and car are available if required.

The position is largely ambulatory, serving a rural region with a diverse range of clients from racing and sports horses to childrens ponies and pleasure horses.
They have a purpose built, RCVS accredited equine clinic with in-patient and operating facilities and an extensive range of high quality portable equipment. Both first and second opinion work is undertaken.
Following your cases through the clinic is strongly encouraged and backup for field procedures is provided by a mobile technician.
You would be working with a highly experienced equine team and participating fully in a 1 in 5 OOH rota.
Experience is preferred but the position may suit a highly motivated new graduate.
