Permanent RVN vacancy - Exmouth, Devon - no OOHs
We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Veterinary practice situated in Exmouth, Devon who are looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

As a practice they aim to treat all of their patients as if they were their own animals and treat clients as you would wish to be treat yourself. The practice is well equipped with full surgical & diagnostic equipment & facilities.
Your duties would include:

Assist the Veterinary Surgeons
-
Daytime inpatient care
-
Theatre assistance
-
Monitoring anaesthesia
-
Maintain practice hygiene
-
Reception work
-
Stock control
-
Nurse clinics (including wellbeing advice, post-operative checks, weight management etc.)

Completion of client pet insurance claims
-
Taking client payments by cash, card in person and over the telephone.

IT & Computer skills- booking appointments and handling client invoices/accounts, entering payments onto the client accounts using the Practice Management System plus use of email.

Manage and send client/animal vaccination reminders and flea/worm treatment compliance recalls via SMS, email or post.

Ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is achieved in all areas of the practice throughout the day.

Supply products prescribed by suitably qualified personnel according to training and authorisation.

Extra duties may be required to be completed to assist the other members of the team especially at busy times.

Co-ordinate within the team to ensure the Nurses rota is fully operational and efficient at all required times including holidays and in the event of people being off sick.
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
